WWTP - TANK AND EQUIPMENT CLEANING

Water treatement systems such as Clarifiers, Holding tanks, Bioreactors, Pump Stations, and other related equipment are expensive, to buy and/or repair, and their downtime can be costly in fines imposed by regulatory agencies. Regular maintenance and cleanning of those equipment are important steps that will usually prevent most problems.

Most sludge removal systems have squeegees that sweep the tank floor but, there is a gap between the rotational system of the clarifier and the floor surface. It is important to keep clean this part of the clarifier and it can be made using an industrial Super Vacuum Truck.

Clarifiers are also susceptible to plugging. Riser pipe valves can be plugged if the flow rate is low. Suction header orifices can also plug with foreign debris. The tank should therefore be cleaned regularly with the Super Vacuum Truck combination unit.
